Google Map Maker in India

Google has announced the launch of Google Map Maker in India. Google Map Maker allows users to add or edit features, such as roads, businesses, parks, schools, apartment buildings, localities and more.

With Google Map Maker tools, users also add detailed information about geographical locations. Google will immediately update the maps with user- created geographical content and made visible to all other users.

The product also introduces peer moderation allowing users to review the data their peers have entered to ensure map quality and accuracy.
