Lowest STD and Roaming Call Charges in India
India’s leading mobile service operator Bharti Airtel, Vodafone, Idea, and Tata Telecom slashed the tariffs for STD and Roaming call charges.
Vodafone slashed the call charges for STD to Rs.1.30 a minute across country. Roaming charges have been dropped to Re.1 for all incoming calls and local outgoing calls.
India’s largest mobile service operator Bharti Airtel has reduced local, long-distance and roaming call charges effective from May 8, 2008. Airtel has reduced roaming and STD charges by 40%, STD call charges to Rs.1.50 a minute from the earlier Rs.2.65 a minute.
Do unlimited STD at Rs.1.50 per minute anywhere in India. On Roaming get all incoming at Re.1 per minute and outgoing local calls to Re.1 a minute. While on roaming, a subscriber can make STD call at the rate of Rs.1.50 per minute.
Idea has slashed STD charges to Rs. 1.30 per min, effective 9th May. Roaming rates have also been slashed, and roaming subscribers can avail a tariff of Re.1.00 per min on incoming calls, Re 1.00 per min for out going local calls, and Rs. 1.50 per min, while roaming, for all STD calls.
Tata Telecom Limited has slashed STD and Roaming call charges, all STD (including roaming) calls on ‘Go One’ and ‘Go Power’ would be charged at Rs 1.50 per minute. Roaming incoming calls and outgoing local calls have been fixed at Re 1 per minute. Effective May 15, 2008.
