Digg.com is a social bookmaking website. If the readers of your article find your article good they will digg it. If any article receives 30-40 diggs, then it will appear on the FrontPage of digg. If it appears on the FrontPage, many users visiting digg will visit your website to see the article. Also since it would be displayed in the digg sub pages which have a pretty high PR, your website PR will also increase.

Once your visitors click “digg it” link, it will take them to the digg page where visitors need to enter the username and password ( or register new digg account) and enter the URL, Title and description for the article which they are digging. The title will be the title of the article and the description will be the first few lines of the article.
