Getting the correct amount of sleep

You does not want to get out of bed, you want to sleep for atleast another hour. During the day, you may have difficulty concentrating or feel sleepy, fatigued, or irritable. You may suffer from a sleep disorder or insomnia. Life stress, illness, environmental factors and health conditions can cause insomnia or sleep disorder as well. Over 70 Million people in the USA suffer from some kind of Sleep Disorder. If it is not treated, it can affect all areas of your life, work.
Sleep is a basic of human needs. It promotes feelings of wellness. Adults need at least seven to eight hours of sleep. Night shift workers also get less sleep. There are a number of ways to reduce insomnia or other sleep related problems without drug treatments. Here are some healthy tips that can help you to get the correct amount of sleep.
1. Avoid caffeine before bed time. This includes chocolate, caffeinated sodas and teas, and coffee. Caffeine delays sleep.
2. Avoid foods and drinks high in sugar, and alcohol before bed time.
3. Avoid a heavy meal before bed but don’t go to bed hungry. Try a healthy snack or light food.
4. Make sure your bedroom is dark, cool, quiet, comfortable, attractive, and orderly.
5. Exercising regularly is one of the prime factors in giving you a good night’s sleep.
6. Relaxing bath before you go to bed is one way to naturally encourage your body to go to sleep.
