GreenPrint is a free paper saving software
GreenPrint Technologies launched a new version of its paper saving software – GreenPrint World 1.0.1. GreenPrint software eliminates waste before printing, saving paper, ink, money, and reducing greenhouse gasses. It helps you avoid printing useless pages such as banner ads on a Web page, that tends to spill over onto extra pages, saving both ink and paper.
The application does this by analyzing the document and then highlighting and removing any unnecessary pages. This software removes unwanted contents, images, and banner ads before the documents are sent to printer.
It lets users delete images from the printed page and quickly create print-friendly PDF documents. It will post a summary report on how much pages, trees, and money the user has saved.
Requirements: Windows 2000/XP/Vista, 1GHZ+ processor, 256 MB RAM, .NET 2.0 (included in installer).
GreenPrint World 1.0.1 is a freeware and you can get it for quick trial at http://www.printgreener.com/download.html. It’s also available as a free download on Download.com.
