Toyota Corolla Altis Ahead!

Japanese auto major Toyota Motors has launched their latest sedan model Corolla Altis in the Indian market on 5th September 2008. The new Corolla Altis will be 10mm longer, 60mm wider and 20mm lower than the current model.

“Our goal is to sell an average of 2,000 vehicles a month” said Hiroshi Nakagawa, managing director, TKM.

Toyota reached their goal in first month in India. Advertisement published on Indian leading English news paper Deccan Herald on 20 October 2008 “In this very first month in India, the Toyota Corolla Altis has taken the market by storm! With over 70,000 people having seen the car and more than 20,000 enquiries, today we have 2,500 happy customers as a part of the Corolla Altis family. We’re overwhelmed by this response. Thank you for welcoming the Corolla Altis into your hearts!”

The new model is priced between Rs.10.83 lakh and Rs.12.86 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
